Dear valued Members, Partners, and Industry Colleagues -
Please mark your calendars for March 29th, 30th 2011 in Santa Clara, California for the 2011 Solar Leadership Summit, presented by SolarTech.
The 2011 Solar Leadership Summit will introduce "Solar 3.0, a Path from Policy to Profitability".
With Prop 23 successfully defeated by a bi-partisan coalition of cleantech organizations, the California Solar Initiative moving through final incentive steps in the context of an increasingly challenging national policy landscape, NOW is the time to establish a clear path from policy driven markets to.....just a market.
Day 1 – Solar 3.0 – “A path from Policy to Profitability”
Solar 3.0 will be the wedge for PV to cross into mainstream markets by bringing together model best practices around the PV system Performance and Financing, showcasing online design tools, optimized supply chains, integrated paperless permitting solutions, which when taken together will cause a step change in cost reductions of process costs through market based solutions to accelerate PV adoption.
Critical industry topics such as Permitting, Finance, Performance, Workforce, Installation, and Interconnection will remain the core for Day 1, as we look at progress since last year while setting the strategic industry recommendations in these areas going forward into 2012 at local, state, and federal levels.
We will incorporate deep market analytics in combination with the essential backdrop of public policy developments to provide the context for developing actionable industry driven solutions.
Expanded Day 2 Commercialization Forum: Convergence, Convergence, Convergence
In 2010 we introduced the Innovation & Commercialization Forum to look at streamlining industry processes for bringing new technologies to market while minimizing potential impacts on current standards and best practices.
One year later, SOLAR CONVERSATIONS ARE EVERYWHERE!
Convergence is occurring between PV, Energy Efficiency, and Solar Thermal. The electrification of transportation is starting to shape PVs role in the “Vehicle to Grid” space. Finally, as PVs contribution to the SmartGrid architecture becomes better defined the need to develop strategic methods to commercialization PV in all its shapes and forms remains paramount.
We build on the Day 1 foundation by extending the conversations into ways downstream standards and best practices enable both speed and scale to support these adjacent industry segments as they evolve.
Over the course of two days, thought leaders will literally chart a strategic path for the PV industry
Please join us. Be there. Be a Leader.
