This year we are introducing a second day to this ground-breaking event! The Innovation & Commercialization Forum will look at streamlining industry processes for bringing new technologies and products to market, while minimizing potential impacts on current standards and best practices.

We will explore strategic trends in international testing and certification standards and examine current gaps relative to new product commercialization efforts.

NEW! Tour of the PG&E San Ramon Technology Center
A limited number of participants may register on a first-come first-served basis for a tour of the PG&E San Ramon Technology Center. See the famous high voltage testing dome that was featured on the Discovery Channel program "Myth Busters".  

Also included is a visit to the Modular Generation Test Facility, which has capabilities for testing and evaluating distributed generation and storage equipment and their interactions with a utility grid. PG&E is aggressively contracting for renewables, including a 5-year 500MW PV Program.
 


The tours will take place over the lunch break at the Summit on both days -- come and see some of the exciting work going on at the PG&E Technology Center, which is located right across the street from the Summit venue at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center. More


NEW! California Solar Initiative (CSI) Public Forum

The California Solar Initiative (CSI) Public Forum provides a venue for public stakeholders to identify and discuss priority issues related to the administration and implementation of the CSI program with the California Public Utility Commission and the three Program Administrators: Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison and the California Center for Sustainable Energy.

The CSI Public Forum will take place on Thursday, April 22nd from 4:30pm - 6:30pm at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center.
